A number of funding sources exist for biodiversity work. The list below is given for guidance only and should not be seen as exhaustive. Details of funding sources change on a regular basis so you are recommended to check the current details of any grant scheme directly with the relevant funder. You will also need to check whether you or your organisation is eligible to apply as the criteria varies between funders.
Several programmes currently available. Please note: In April 2008 HLFwill launch their third Strategic Plan and will be introducing new application materials and guidance.
Supports community and environmental projects which meet one of the scheme's objectives. Grants can be for capital or some revenue purposes, and may be up to 100% of a project's cost though complementary funding is normally required.
