 | The project seeks to identify species-rich hedgerows and associated historic features within selected survey areas in South Staffordshire and Lichfield districts in order to determine their quality, quantity and condition. The study will provide baseline information and future protection and management through site designation, dissemination of information and management advice to the local authority, planners and landowners.

 | This project, which was developed by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust in partnership with the National Forest Company, aims to develop a new 41 hectare nature reserve in the Needwood Forest and fulfil a number of priority BAP habitat targets. The re-creation of wood pasture on this site will make a significant contribution towards the outstanding national habitat creation target within the UK BAP. |
